Strick showcases trailers built to unique customer specifications

(Monroe, Indiana – February 26, 2018) – Strick Trailers is proud to showcase a variety of highly customized trailers at this year’s ATA Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC) Annual Meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition. The event will take place from March 5th-8th at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

Strick’s exhibit emphasizes the company theme of “Customer-ization”. Visitors will have the opportunity to examine multiple component options in four (4) highly customized trailers, featured in three (3) sizeable booths: #31, 3105, and 3205. Among the items on display:

Booth #31
A highly specialized 53’ Frito-Lay Drop Frame snack trailer highlights custom components, a spacious interior, and significant attention to detail. The triple side doors, advanced hydraulic rear lift system, abundant skylights, and bright L.E.D. cove lighting will aid drivers in performing efficient, safe deliveries. Combined, these features make this trailer an impressive outlay of what “Customer-ization” can do!

A 40’ Pepsi “Geo” Local Distribution Trailer demonstrates the future for soft beverage distribution. A collaboration between Pepsi and Strick engineering, this trailer showcases bumper-to-bumper corrosion protection, an advanced onboard pallet jack charging station, and a high-tech Waltco rail gate. Both the charging station and rail gate are powered by a solar panel system. For demonstration, the lift gate will be operated by an independent lithium-ion re-chargeable battery pack.

Booth #3205
A 53’ Straight Floor Van for Innovative Logistics Group (ILG) designed specifically for the extreme service rigors of automotive parts supply. Boasting a 19” high, 10GA galvanized steel L-scuff that is virtually indestructible, this Strick trailer is built to take abuse! The woven fiberglass Pecolite roof with roof bows bonded on the exterior, illustrates a combination of enhanced weathering capabilities, natural lighting, and a smooth ceiling interior to reduce “catch points”. The uniqueness of this ceiling structure continues at the rear of the trailer with inclusion of a rear ceiling deflector, to mitigate damage from freight and lift truck mast.

A 40’ Shaw Flooring Distribution Van carefully engineered and built to deliver carpets and heavy laminate flooring, is a cut above the rest. This uniquely customized Strick van is equipped with a durable Palfinger slide-out liftgate, featuring a large platform, making it the perfect solution for a wide variety of distribution applications. To check out the interior finishing, including the carpet winch system, take a quick ride on the liftgate.

Booth #3105
Strick’s third booth space offers visitors a place to relax while enjoying the premier of Strick’s short video “Our People Make the Difference”. Meet some of the incredible team members and get a close look at the inside of the modern, All-American, Indiana manufacturing plant. Additionally, the booth features a special display highlighting section views of its exclusive wall, roof, rear frame designs, and upper coupler design.

Lastly, don’t forget to enter Strick’s Scavenger Hunt to qualify for three different chances to win $500 cash!
